Citizens Advice SORT Group welcomes three new trustees

Citizens Advice SORT Group is pleased to announce the appointment of three new trustees.

Working with Nurole, the charity went through a wide reaching and competitive recruitment process to make the three appointments.

Up to twelve members sit on the Citizens Advice SORT Group trustee board, each bringing a different skill set and expertise which reflects the variety of the organisation’s work.

Martyn’s knowledge of good governance, strategy, customer focus and risk and regulatory management( plus experience on the board of CAF Bank, the leading bank for charities and social enterprises, and Candidate X, an international diversity, equity and inclusion startup) will bring valuable insight to the group.

Atif Hafeez brings transnational Chief Financial Officer experience gained in global technology business services. Atif has significant achievements relating to competitive strategic leadership and improving business and financial stability, bringing an ability for data-driven decisions whilst maintaining a big picture perspective.

Chair of Citizens Advice SORT Group, Phil Aspden said:

“I am delighted to welcome three new trustees into our board. Between them they bring a wealth and breadth of experience that will be invaluable to our organisation. It is very gratifying to know that people of their calibre, already busy with their other business activities, are willing to provide their time and input for us.”
