Rising Energy Prices - How are people feeling?

The Cost of Living Crisis is impacting millions of people across the country and the communities of Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale and Trafford are no different.

Since February 2020, the energy price cap has risen and now Cornwall Insight estimates the price cap could be £3,582 in October 2022, rising to £5,386 in January 2023.

We created an open and anonymous survey for people to complete to give insight into how people felt about the projected energy cost increases.

The report shows varied responses in how people are making changes to their household budgets and details the support that we think the government should announce.
